Originally created as part of a kickstarter for the self-published book "Queer as a Five-Dollar Bill," written by my brother Lee Wind. Wyatt, the main character in this YA (Young Adult) novel discovers real historical evidence that Abraham Lincoln was in romantic love with another man, Joshua Fry Speed. My portrait illustrates this historical secret with a bejeweled Lincoln, each charm representing Lincoln, Speed, and their story.

I found this tray while flea marketing; seems a Villanova University student named Edward decoupaged it in 1968. His dreams, fantasies, words of wisdom, favorite places all figured in the original composition.

But what if Edward was making his tray today? What if Edward wasn't quite the smooth ladies man he wanted to originally project? What if instead Edward was a woke, LGBTQIA 2020 Gen Zer?
